Sesame Sesame Balls

Ingredients: (for 30 sesame balls)
  • Glutinous rice flour 300g
  • Tang flour 60g (wheat starch)
  • Sugar 100g
  • Vegetable oil 6 teaspoons
  • Boiling water 1 and 1/2 cups
  • Red bean paste 250g or peanut butter 250g

Make the Sesame Balls
  • Mix (a)~(c) in a big bowl then pour in the boiling water, blend them well then pour in the oil slowly and knead the dough to soft and smooth.

  • Divide the dough into 30 shares.
  • Flatten one share of the dough by hands then put a share of the filling in the pastry and wrap it up. Rub the wrapped dough with hands and shape it up in a round ball.

   
  • Roll the BALL on the sesames-spread-plate, be sure that the ball all covered by sesames and the sesames won't fall off.

  • Finish all the dough then deep-fry them with 375°F-preheated oil until they turn hard and golden brown. Ready for serve.
