Fried Stuffed Bun Fried Stuffed Bun

Ingredients: (for 25 buns)
      Dough       Filling
  • Instant blending flour 250g
  • Sugar 1 and 1/2 teaspoon
  • Baking powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil 1 and 1/2 teaspoon
  • Water 150ml
  • Yeast 1 teaspoon
  • Ground pork 500g
  • Chopped green onion 75g
  • Salt 3/4 teaspoon
  • Soy sauce 1 teaspoon
  • Sesame oil 1/2 spoon
  • Grinded ginger 10g
  • Vegetable oil 2 teaspoons
  • Water 100ml

Prepare the Filling
  • Blend all filling ingredients together. Until it's very sticky.

Prepare the Dough
  • Blend the yeast with water.
  • Mix (a)~(d) in a big bowl.
  • Add the yeast-water into it then blend and knead it well until the dough soft.
  • Set the dough aside for 50~60 minutes. Then knead the dough to smooth and soft.

Wrap the Bun
  • Cut the dough to 25 shares.
  • Roll the dough into a thin round shape. (About 8cm diameter)
  • Put 15~20g of the prepared filling on the centre of the pastry. Then wrap it up. Like fold the edge altogether and twist the tip softly.
  • Repeat (b)(c) to make all the buns.
   

Fried the Buns
  • Mix 1 teaspoon of flour with 1 cup cold water.
  • Pour 2 teaspoons of oil into the fry-pan, lay the bus on it.
  • Fry the buns for 3 minutes then pour in 1/4 cup of (a) into fry-pan and cover the lid.
  • Boil it until water gone.
  • Ready to serve.
